Deborah Pritchard

Deborah, double bass, has performed classically with the New European Orchestra, the European Union Youth Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra (String Scheme). She has performed popular music with artists such as Andrea Boccelli and Enya, on the Parkinson show and at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo.

In addition to playing the double bass, Deborah is an experienced composer. Her work has been performed by the Allegri String Quartet, the BBC Singers, the Philharmonia Chamber Orchestra, the Composers Ensemble and the Oxford Philomusica. Her music has been broadcast by BBC Radio Three, recorded by the NMC label and shortlisted by BBC Radio Four.

Deborah is currently studying for a DPhil in composition at Worcester College, Oxford.
