Libby, violinLibby, violin, specialises in string quartets and chamber music. She has performed in many prominent venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and the Purcell Room, and has played in the prestigious Haydn Chamber Music Festival as lead violin.

Libby has performed the Kabalevsky Violin Concerto and the Bach Double Violin Concerto as a soloist. She also premiered Deborah Pritchard’s work ‘Saphirus’ at the Royal Academy of Music to great acclaim. This was in fact Libby’s final recital for which she received first-class honours.

Having gained her place to study composition, Libby has since discovered a passion for choral writing and has had her works performed in Christ Church, Chelsea.

Her keen interest in commercial music has led to Libby working all over the UK and the USA with Sir Elton John including the renowned venues, Birmingham NEC, Wembley Arena, the Royal Albert Hall and New York's Radio City Music Hall.

She has also toured extensively with Simply Red, and her TV appearances include performing with Il Divo on the Parkinson show.
