Here at Blue Topaz, our passion for musical innovation, excellence and elegance culminates in our ability to offer you unique and exclusive string ensembles. Meaning you can enjoy a bespoke and beautiful product, we will make your event truly memorable, musically outstanding and visually stunning.

Choose between the Exclusive Blue Topaz String Trio or Quintet.

Formed of violins and bass, the Blue Topaz Exclusive Groups were the original string ensembles that were created under the Blue Topaz name.

Our desire was to offer clients an elegant but fun and contemporary alternative to the traditional string quartet, beautifully presented with the inclusion of the fabulous double bass and slap bass technique.

The Exclusive Blue Topaz String Trio

An elegant and stylish female string trio of two violins and double bass incorporating the slap bass technique. The original Blue Topaz Strings product and a favourite with our clients.

The Exclusive Blue Topaz String Quintet:

Formed of four violins and double bass The Exclusive Blue Topaz String Quintet is perfect for larger events or for a high impact and eye-catching alternative to the trio.

The Quintet can also perform on both traditional and electric instruments and shares the trio repertoire, adding in extra musical lines and octaves resulting in an even richer sound. We can arrange any song for the quintet on request.

We also offer a range of matching dresses, making a strong visual statement to accompany our music and your event. Hire of amplification is offered for larger events.

Whilst we now offer a larger choice of string line ups, the unrivalled Exclusive Trio and Quintet remain our best sellers for weddings, parties and corporate events alike, and they continue to delight clients up and down the country with their unique style, technique and energy.

The Blue Topaz Strings Exclusive Groups appeal to all age ranges. We have played for Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs, at hundreds of weddings & anniversary parties for couples of all ages, for corporate events spanning young professionals to CEOs, plus many a big birthday to the age of ninety!

We arrange every piece for the Exclusive Trio and Quintet, choosing music that we love and that we know will work perfectly for our string ensembles. With an outstanding popular section, the Exclusive repertoire is continually updated and enhanced so that we remain cutting edge whether clients are choosing popular contemporary pop, jazz or classical string music.
We also arrange music on request and no song is too big, too small, too outlandish or unusual! Please enquire with your song choice.

Our stylish Exclusive Group ladies have been selected and trained carefully for their ability to switch between classical and more contemporary and jazzy styles. Our bass players have learned the distinctive slap bass technique and the overall performance makes quite an impact with guests and clients who are thrilled with our exciting energy and vitality.

We offer both traditional and electric string instruments.

For large numbers of guests or bigger events our amplification is available for hire, either to boost the sound of our traditional instruments to a desired level, or to facilitate the electric instruments. This can include speakers, full PA systems, instrument and vocal microphones* (*for any speeches that may be taking place at your event) and our string specialist sound engineers to operate and oversee.

If our amplification is hired we can also bring along lighting to give extra ambience to our performance area.
By offering amplification and lighting we can be entirely self sufficient at your event - all we need is a  power point.
All equipment is insured and regularly PAT tested.

Whether we are performing at a wedding, a private party or a corporate reception, the Exclusive Groups' range of elegant dresses with matching options are a big hit with clients and are often requested. Please enquire for our current options and choices.
